with coleslaw, potato salad, baked beans and corn on the cob. Tickets to
the event are $15.00 and include entry, food and entertainment. Draft
beers will be offered $3.00 pint, with $5.00 Crown & Coke and Cuervo

has since grown into an organization with a broad scope, capable of
providing support to our community and entities within the Seattle Fire
Department. |
| About the Old Pequiliar Public House: The
building at
1722 Market Street in Ballard that is now home to the Old Pequliar
Public House (a.k.a. "The O.P.") has lived many lives. Originally a
private residence, The O.P. did a stint as an appliance store before
taking on the persona of the Valhalla Tavern in 1962. The business
changed hands and names several times, during which time a previous
owner renamed the tavern "The Old Pequliar" after the English ale. In
August 1996, Carl Rogers purchased the business, added a kitchen to
serve classic Irish pub fare, and expanded the bar selection to include
liquors. The O.P. is a neighborhood favorite that draws a loyal
following of locals for its highly popular Trivia Night competitions,
spacious outdoor deck and laid-back comfortable atmosphere. The O.P. is
open Monday-Friday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 AM, Saturday-Sunday 10:00 AM to
2:00 AM, with Happy Hour offered twice daily. |
